Home interiors · Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Nadiad, AnandHome interiors planned around how you live.
Mitti & Measure, led by Muskaan Keshvani, designs homes room by room: layouts that fit daily routines, materials that age well, and light, storage and furniture considered together. New apartments, standalone houses and single rooms alike begin with a conversation about your space.
Scope
Each home interior scheme covers the decisions a room needs, drawn and specified so site work and purchases follow one intent.
- Room-by-room layouts, including furniture placement and circulation.
- Material and finish direction: flooring, wall finishes, joinery surfaces and hardware intent.
- Lighting intent: where task, ambient and accent light are needed and how they are controlled.
- Storage design around what you own, from everyday items to luggage and cleaning equipment.
- Furniture direction, including what to retain, what to commission and what to source.
- Drawings and schedules that coordinate layout, joinery, lighting points and finishes for execution.
Scope is agreed before work begins and set out in your proposal. Site coordination is scoped alongside design so everyone knows what is included.
Process
Conversation and site understanding
We discuss your rooms, routines and priorities, then study the available plan, measurements and photographs to understand the space.
Scheme and drawings
Layouts, materials, lighting and furniture are developed as one scheme and refined with you through drawings and samples.
Detailing and site coordination
Joinery details, finish schedules and lighting points are drawn for execution, with site coordination as agreed in the proposal.
What to bring
You do not need a finished brief. These five things make the first conversation useful; unknowns can be labelled as unknown.
- An available floor plan, with its source and anything you have measured.
- A note on each room: what it is used for and what frustrates you today.
- An inventory of furniture and appliances you plan to keep, with sizes where possible.
- A spending range, a preferred start date and any fixed commitments.
- A few reference images with a line on which part matters to you.
The home interior planning guide walks through these in more detail.

Questions about home interiors
Can you design around furniture we already own?
Yes. Tell us which pieces must stay and their sizes. The layout and scheme are planned around them, and the proposal notes what is retained, adapted or replaced.
Do you take up single rooms or small scopes?
Enquire with the room and what you want to change. If the scope fits our services, we set out the design support and site coordination in a tailored proposal.
What if we have no floor plan yet?
Share photographs, basic measurements and the source of any plan you do have, such as a builder drawing. We agree what needs measuring or confirming before design begins.
How are design fees decided?
Fees depend on the scope and the services required. After the initial conversation we prepare a tailored proposal covering services, fees and next steps.
